Distracted (Behind The Scenes)
“No, yeah, seriously.” David grinned, flashing his green eyes at the brunette. She was dressed in a black polo and pants, her headset around her neck and the boom pole in her hands. “It was super dangerous, and we almost died, but yeah, we survived, and now I have this really cool scar on my—”
“David!” Rayne yelled.
David ignored her.
“Um . . .” The brunette looked past him. “I think she’s trying to get your—”
“No, she’s fine,” David said, waving her focus back to him.
“Yeah, just a little jealous I guess.”
“Jealous?”
“Only a jealous person would respond that way.” David sighed.
“Now, what did you say your name was again? Shannon?”
“It’s Cally.”
“Cally, Shannon, they’re practically the same name,” David joked nervously. “So what do you like to do on, say . . . Saturdays?”
“DAVID!”
“’Scuse me just a second.” David smiled, then spun around to Rayne. “What?”
“You are needed on set!”
“Why?”
“Because you’re fayring acting! You’re an actor! They literally cannot film this scene without you.”
“Oh, yeah.” David rubbed his chin thoughtfully. “You’re right.” He turned back to the brunette. “Alas, dear Shannon, I must bid you goodbye.”
“No, I’m literally going to the set too,” she answered, raising the boom mic. “And also . . . it’s Cally.”
“No, I’m pretty sure it’s Shannon.”
“DAVID. SET. NOW.”
“Whoops, coming, coming, sorry!”
